I'm running IFly on a Samsung Tab A with a Dual GPS 170. Been very happy with both except the last couple of flights I've needed to restart the tablet for IFly to connect with the antenna. I've done like dual says to start the app first then turn on the antenna. Tried both ways and nothing until I restart the tablet, then all is fine.

What antenna? Your tablet connects with the Dual GPS170 via bluetooth. Are you talking about an external antenna of some sort? How does it connect to your tablet?

I'm using the GPS170. In settings it shows "Paired". But when you go back to the app, it will show not connected.

Are you going into Connected Devices in the IFly menu and choosing the Dual XGPS170?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and a GPS170. It just connects every time I power up and the blue light becomes continuous. I usually turn on the GPS 170 before starting iFly. As Old Pilot said, check Menu-About-Connected Devices.
The problem may be with your Bluetooth settings.
