When trying to connect ads-b (freeflight) to iFly running on a tablet, what address is iFly expecting? I'm having some trouble here.

Does it even matter what the WIFI address is as long as you recognize it and connect your tablet to the proper WIFI device? Then, go into connected devices and choose your FreeFlight from the list.

Thanks, OldPilot, but it DOES matter when you can't SEE IT! Why else would I be asking???

Anyway, I finally figured it out and now my tablet-based iFly can see the Freeflight unit. So mods, you can delete this thread if you like.

Why can't you see it? Click on your tablet settings, then WI-Fi and there it is. Choose your device and connect. Then crank up IFly GPS. Once you connect the first time, your tablet should find it in the future. And, I have no idea why you would be asking. Why the attitude?

This is a useful thread David, if you can write an excerpt to describe the source of the issue (or confusion) and how you resolved it. Whatever happened to you is likely to happen to others.
