Wi-Fi Only IPad Mini

I currently have the Wi-Fi only mini iPad, but I'm considerring puchasing the Dual XGPS150A external GPS unit for my iPad. Does the iFly software support this gps add on unit?

Micheal,

Yes the iFly GPS App works with the Dual XGPS 150, 160 and 170. We actually sell the XGPS 160 on our webstore for $149, It is the latest and greatest Dual with 10Hz GPS refresh, WAAS, Glonass and the ability to connect more devices to it simultaneously. Here is a link.

Just make sure you select the Dual XGPS from within the Connected Devices, under the Menu -> About option.

I have a Dual XGPS150 that I used before I upgraded to a Dual XGPS170, then a SkyGuardTWX transceiver. The Dual XGPS150 works great as do the others. The Dual XGPS units connect via bluetooth. Some of the others connect via WIFI.

I have been using the Dual 150 GPS in conjunction with my iPad 2 and other map programs for several years and it works all the time, every time!

Been using it with the iFly App since it came out and am delighted ~ although my 720 beats the iPad hands down, the 'pad' acts as my taxi map and backup
