Student Pilot close to taking the PPL check ride. Just now learning to use iFly. I use it with Stratux on a Samsung Galaxy 8" tab. I have 2 questions for you Gurus  out there -

  1. How to set the traffic (triangles) to show me relative altitude - e.g +007 for 700 ft above me or -012 for 1200 ft below me? heck even if I can see their absolute altitude, I'll be happy since all I see when in the air are triangles. I have to click on them to get details. It would be nice to see the alt info next to the triangles so I can glance at it without touching the tablet.
  2. How to get rid of the flight path from the last flight plan I loaded? I always see a magenta line between my home base airport and the airport I last flew to. How to clear the route path once the trip is complete?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

I.  To see altitudes (either relative or absolute) for traffic, you need to be zoomed in to a certain level.  To choose between relative and absolute altitudes, tap Menu > Setup > Alerts and Warnings > Traffic Alerts, and then either check or uncheck "Show Relative Altitudes".

II.  Your flight plan persists until you change it or clear it.  If you want to delete it, tap Flight Plan, then the "Clear" button in the upper-right corner.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe altitude is shown at all for targets that are light blue (Cyan) colored.  I always figured that those were traffic without ADS-B Out that the ground radar picked up.  For the others, I get relative altitudes.
