My 740 (original model) does not detect WiFi. I am trying to connect to a uAvioix Sky Sensor. The 740 does not see the signal from the Sky Sensor.; Both my iPhone and iPad  with iFly see the signal, and immediately connect.

Is there any way the WiFi may have been disabled on the 740?

Thanks

Paul Anton

The iFly devices are notoriously finicky re: wifi.  Make sure that any "(Pre)" networks are deleted, and see if that helps.  (Once you get your 740 to connect to your ADSB device, I suggest you never touch the wifi settings again--don't try to take it into the FBO and connect to their wifi or take it home and connect to your home wifi.  It's best if the device only remembers how to connect to a single wifi network.)

The solution was dead simple. I was not using the "settings" shown in the initial startup screen, but those in the iFly application itself.

Once I accessed settings in the startup screen I connected easily..smiley

How do you delete the "pre" connections? What does "pre" mean?

How do you connect to a hotel wireless system? There is no option to enter a password,
