How long is the usb cable that is supplied with this unit?  Preliminary planning looks like 45" or so needed.

Also...I believe if using the 720 in an AirGizmo panel mount will require an "up angle" usb A end.

8 3/4" long.  Much shorter than the one pictured with it in the online store.

I am correct in saying an "up angle" USB A cord is required when used with the AirGizmos panel dock and my 720.

When I googled this, it appears the "up angle" adapter would redirect the USB cord down (away from the screen)...so the opposite angle would certainly NOT work.  But I don't know if this "up angle" is a standard term.  I would pay close attention to the picture of whatever you are buying, making note of which way it will fit into your USB port.

Is it possible to purchase a longer cable, or is signal loss an issue due to cable length??

George,

A longer cable should work fine as long as it's a standard USB to MicroUSB cable and it isn't terrible quality.
