Walter -

Now that in version 5 you have a superbly functional system (by the way the new timing algorythm for ETE FINAL works perfectly now - thanks), I am not ashamed to suggest a minor convenience tweak:

In your menu system (settings for example) you may go thru 2 or 3 nested menus to get to the section you want to modify...but after making your selection the system throws you out of the menu system forcing you to start all over from the first menu to get back to the previous menu where you'd like to make another selection. In most other software applications the default is when you close out one menu it goes back to the previous menu, not back to zero.

If there are those who prefer the existing system (not me, I find it annoying when trying to make multiple changes) you might have 2 options at the bottom of each menu: "Exit" which will dump you out of the menu system as it does now; and "Back to Previous Menu" which will just back you out one level so you can make additional changes in that area.

Thanks,

Steve

Agree...having to go back to "square one" can be frustrating.

I believe this was mentioned somewhere and they are working on a "back" button.

It's come up a few times in just the past few days. I think this release has increased the need for a "back" button on our menus. I'll see what we can do.

Hello Walter,

I ditto the "back button" or nested menu idea. Thenew release does have a lot going on and it would reduce cockpit work load (especially in bumby weather) by having a single touch/keystroke for certain functions.

Keep up the great developments!

Tried to get to Sun-n-Fun but will not be able to make it.

Maybe next year!

Paul
