Version 7.5 is in beta testing right now. It has several features, including Portrait mode*, an Instrument page which shows analog guages, an HSI that can be put on any map, support for Clarity ADSB, an artificial horizon** and support for AHRS devices, and some other stuff. Should be in production in a few weeks.

Thanks,
Walter

*Portrait mode may only be fully supported on the 720. We've coded this to work on the iFly 700 as well, but that hardware does not have native support for this mode. We're beta testing this on the 700 now, and will keep you posted.

**The artificial horizon will only work with a supported AHRS device. with 7.5 we're supporting Clarity and LEVIL devices.

Will ithe 720 be able to connect to the LEVIL device via wi-fi?

Tom,

The 720 connects to the Levil via Serial, however we are just finishing developing the wi-fi and starting to test this. Wi-Fi connectivity to Levil and Clarity will be functioning in the production release of Version 7.5.

Will the Wi-Fi connectivity be supported thru the SkyRadar? I currently have the levil with the serial cable connected to the skyradar and the skyradar wifi includes levil datastream. This works flawlessly with wingx on my ipad.

Tom,

That's the idea. I've spoken with the good people over at Levil several times and they can tether the Levil G Mini to the SkyRadar via wired connection now. The idea would then be to connect the iFly 720 to the SkyRadar via Wi-Fi and benefit from both the ADS-B and AHRS like on WingX. This is part of the Wi-Fi interface testing that we are doing at this time. Our hope is for this setup to work seamlessly with the iFly 720 via the Wi-Fi connection and possibly the iFly 700 via Wired connection. More testing to come. We can't commit to this tethering being in the 7.5 without further testing. I don't think we would delay 7.5 to include this, but rather put out a patch update should there be more development on it. Hope this helps.
