Walter,

It sounds like we've got a vibrant community of technically savvy people who'd love to contribute to enhancing the product platform. Very exciting.

To facilitate that, is there any chance you could add some sort of application launch menu that users could configure for themselves? It would be great to be able to load Win CE applications on the SD card and create a launch menu file without modifying the base product (or bothering you). :-)

Probably not; CE is a very stable operating system, but when folks install their own software or drivers it is easy to introduce unstabilities, memory problems, performance issues, etc, that are difficult to diagnose.

Okay, I can help with this. We will add support for launching a PDFViewer in version 7. I'll post the procedures later. We've worked with this company in the past, they do have a good product but they wanted too much $ for us to distrubte on the iFly. But we're trying to find a model that works for both of us. More to come.

Walter, Brian, and AP Staff: You you guys are simply awesome in responding to owner feedback. What a terrific product and production team. While you are working on the .pdf and/or spreadsheet viewers, just a friendly reminder to fix the problem of not being able to open text files in the exiting Text Viewer. I have tried doubble tapping, trippple tapping, quaddddruple tapping without success. There is no discernible way to open my text file checklists. I am running a 720 with the latest OS. Thanks, ===Ralph
