I also have this issue with my 700. The GPS Info/Status age shows the correct time but the menu and Nav programs do not update. Once I have a GPS fix if I pull the power plug for 20-30 seconds and then plug back in, the time usually comes up correctly second time around. Annoying work around though.

I did have an instance where my Navigation Time Instrument was reading an hour behind the time on the system splash screen clock, but that seems to have corrected itself. I live in the eastern time zone and the system clock and navigation time instrument can read an hour or more off (minutes are accurate). The Daylight Savings Enable has no effect whatsoever from what I can see. Seems like this is pretty basic stuff and it SHOULD work correctly all the time without all this finagling. ===Ralph

Is there a fix for this? Mine is doing the same thing. Day, date and time are wrong. Get a good GPS lock then remove power and now time is updated. If I forget to do, my log is of course wrong, and the time on the screen as well. Very annoying! No post since 2011, so am not sure if a fix was found.

Mark: I am now running version 7.0.13b (beta) along with the very latest OS update for my i720 and have had no problems with it keeping the correct date and time for my time zone. Won't know if it will revert back to EST automatically until we go off DST in October, but it is now behaving perfectly wrt date/time since I made my original post. ===Ralph
