Mike,

When you send the shutdown command from within iFly, the green status light on the Stratux will start to flash 10 times, and then will return to solid when it's ready to be powered down.

Thanks Shaun, this is now hand-written into my checklist...BTW, it also makes an audible sound, so I am sure switch off the engine first so I can HEAR the STRATUX shutting down as well...I get a visual and audible warning now before pulling power.

Happy to report my systems are working much better since I started doing this consistently.

Could be the new update, could be the procedure, could be all in my mind, but the fact is, I've had no more STRATUX issues since operating this way.  Thanks very much everyone - great advice.

Could AP come up with a IFly connect type of program, where you would put the Stratux micro/holder and download to your PC, what ever is the current "FIX" for the unit, I try to follow some videos and boy do I get lost, I gave Up.

Ciao

Before you go messing with the iFly software, have you ever tried going to the Stratux web interface to see what it's doing?  It's easy to see if it's getting a GPS fix if you look there, and that's a key piece of information to investigating your problem.  Connect your laptop to the Stratux wifi, then browse to http://192.168.10.1.

And from there, you can upload and install the latest Stratux version, but you can't reflash a corrupt card.
