So I went out today and tried three devices simultaneously just on the ground:

Samsung S9 (my phone)

Samsung S2 (my tablet)

Samsung Tab A7 (wifes tablet)

iFly on my phone (s9) worked solidly, never a problem.  ADSB data stayed just firm and you can see it processing heartbeats one per second.  The other two are just spotty with the hearbeats, sometimes once a second, mostly once every two, maybe longer time periods and they would just say device not connected occasionally then back to data again.  All devices show good wifi to the navworx and I tried all three, just two, just one a time etc etc and results were always the same.  I will post ADSB log data via the app shortly!

Thanks for looking into it - we love ifly and in all other ways it works great.

Cheers,

Andrew

And BTW, my experience is exactly the same thing - these are our symptoms.

Ok, I forwarded some logs from the s9 (working!) and the s2 tablet (not working as well).  I had a quick look at the basic log in the time frames for both and the s2 has a lot of HICCIP type entries that don't exist on the s9 app log:

... for example.   So something is going on that is interesting.

And just as a comparison, I fired up a stratux pi and hooked it up to the samsung s2/ifly combo and I see good heartbeat performance (once per second) and apparently traffic over my house ... no disconnects, for what it is worth.

When did Navworx become legal again?

I have one left over from when the FAA disqualified Navworx and I went to Uavionix.

I'm sure they are OK for ADSB in, but still not for ADSB out.

If anyone out there needs on for the in mode only I have one I'll let go of.
