Needing a quick battery backup for the iFly, and constantly looking for the remote led to some inventing and modifying.
I used a DeWalt 18v battery from my cordless drill for the power. It lasted roughly 4 hours with the iFly and Brand L 1000 setting in my basement.
I have some very thin Stainless Steel wire that fits nicely under the battery door for the remote. I routed it around the post molded into the remote case, and hot glued it so it wouldn't come loose.
