I had an old yoke mount from a Garmin 295 ( a 296, 396, or 496 would work also). I took off the plastic mounting piece with the 4 small screws. This left a nice flat plate to put 2 velcro strips on. Then added two gripping velcro strips on the back of the IFly 700. This setup does not block any instruments and is right in front of you and in your instrument scan. I've got over 100 hours on this setup without any problems. Because the flat plate area is small, both the external antenna and power plug do not interfere with the mounting setup.
