I dont care too much for the fairly recent change to automatically thin the course line to one pixel when the map view is dominated by an approach plate. I find it hard to see the course line when I'm still a good distance from the final approach course because it's so thin. I would prefer the full width course line but would idealy like to see it become something for which one could set the opactity, (see Re: Hide course line? ), but the present method of touching the screen to briefly thin the line is a decent solution too. How about the new automatic thinning feature being selectable by the user or, what about having the line become thin on the first fix where the plotted route touches the final approach course, once there are no more turns? That will keep the data charted down the center of the approach course unobscured, yet provide an easy to see course line until established on the final. Just my two cents on that one.
