There is a nice bug when you are flying direct. However, I've not found a way to handle vectors by ATC when on IFR Flight Plan. A heading bug on the tape at the top would be great, to help offset the precessing DG (Plus most of the darn planes I rent don't have a heading bug on the DG). Also keeping the tape at the top would be great when viewing approach plates.

Well noted. I'm considering a feature where you touch the course tape and you are prompted to enter a heading bug, then we would show that in a different color/shape on the tape, along with the current bearing indicator. Would something like that satisfy your needs?

That would be "AWESOME" ..

How about keeping the tape at the top when you read approach plates as well, so you can make sure you can see your track and/or heading when on the approach plate screen...

Please keep in mind that when ATC gives a heading, it is not from the last waypoint but from your current position. I think we have had this mentioned in other posts. I would like to give a heading and altitude from the current position and an indication how well I am tracking both the heading and plus and minus feet from the target altitude. Can that be done?

Thanks,

S. Morgan
