I will call on Tuesday, but figured I would ask here as it is a long weekend.

I updated the SD Card with connect.  (Not my first time doing this). The 740 started like normal and noticed the TruTrak was not showing heading like normal once in the air. Tried to enter a flight plan and the 740 was sluggish. Delays between key clicks, did not switch screens quickly, kept dropping adsb,...   No other changes to the aircraft

I landed and powered down the Avionics buss. My 740 has a dead internal battery so no residual power .  Restarted the 740 and booted like normal. Tried to enter a flight plan and while not sluggish now, it did not populate the current airport like normal as the initial fix. I tried to enter another airport and it started to get sluggish again.

I updated the SD card again from my pc, but got everything is current message.

Is there a way to force an update from the SD card or a reload on the 740. I am guessing it is the op system.

thx!

Why not just post the instructions here. At least one other 740 owner is interested.

You should only do it if we tell you to after diagnostics otherwise you could risk bricking the device.

ohhh-kay.  By the way, I got yet another WinCE networking error mesage--and then two more--and had to turn my 740 off in flight today to get it to reconnect to the uAvionix Ping router. (I'll report it wherever in the forum we've been talking about this issue if I can find it. So that firmware update really didn't work.)
