I entered desired departure (KSNH) and destination (KEBA) points. The approximate heading to fly is 110.

The VFR altitude for his direction should be ODD + 500 ft.

Real Plan came up with 8500 ft.

Reversing the route to a generally westerly direction Real Plan came up with 3500 ft for altitude.

Seems like an issue to me.

Just ran it on my Win10 desktop.

Just ran this on my iPad Mini4 and got essentially the same results.  11,500 eastbound, 4,500 westbound.  What platform are you using for this?

I just ran it and got 5,500 eastbound, 4,500 westbound, so like others, it seems to be picking VFR altitudes correctly for me.

I am using Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with Android 7.0 and iFlyGPS 11.1.18.

Just ran Real Plan on this same points and got appropriate VFR altitudes.

Thanks to all who used my waypoints to help resolve the issue. Not sure what I did yesterday to get the anomalous results.
