Is there a size limit on the SD card that you can use on 740b????

Tried connecting with a 64gb SD card and Ifly connect is not seeing the card, but

if i put back my original(16 gig) it's ok.

I wanted to keep my original card intact and use my other one for testing a few things.

Thx

I can verify that my 32 GB card works fine. Sandisk class 10 speed.

The dedicated iFly hardware devices are Windows CE-based.  There are various limitations baked into that older OS that you don't run into with more modern setups.  I'm having trouble finding definitive information on the file system limitations with WinCE, but it appears that that are at least some configurations that were limited to storage volumes no larger than 32GB.  WinCE also only supports the FAT32 filesystem, not NTFS, so you need to make sure your card is formatted appropriately.

Since other users have had success using 32GB cards, perhaps you could try formatting your 64GB SD card as a 32GB FAT32 device, and that would probably work with the 740b.  You just wouldn't be able to take advantage of all the storage space on the card.

I think it was Walter who told me once that 32 GB is maximum for the 740.

I had to partitioned my 64Gig to 32Gig and format to an MBR partition.

It seems that Ifly connect needs the data structure before it recognize the Sd Card.

I copied my production card to the new empty one and bang Ifly connect found it and I was

able to update my new card with the Beta version...

Thx everyone....
