Out of all the thousands and thousands of calls we've fielded over the past year re: ADSB receivers, we've had the best feedback/least amount of support questions with the AstroLink. There's a reason we stopped selling Stratux.

Brolin - I'd really like to get some feedback from anyone using the Astrolink AHRS setup.  I've searched on the web but really haven't found many user reviews.  Would it be ok to start a forum thread here to get other iFly users input?

i will look into upgrading to Astrolink, but can't beat Stratux price for a student on a budget.

BTW,  Today I saw many "doubles" in iFLY - the same ADSB airplane appearing twice with a slight shift in possition.  I suspect one was received directly and the other from the ADSB tower.  Or one from 1090 and the other on 978.  I'm not sure if this is a stratux or iFLY issue. I have filter ghost traffic option enabled.

Rob,

I am staying with iFly - been a customer for nearly 5 years now of flawless performance and great value.

I have mine tied to a STRATUX -- again, years of solid performance.

A few of us compared the iFly to the Foreflight -- I think you will find they are similar, but I just like the layout of the iFly and the way you could arrange the information you wanted, etc.

If you can, borrow one of each and "chair fly" while someone else is driving or flying...

Best wishes, Mike N714AJ

Mike, do you have an AHRS module in your Stratux, and if so how well does it behave in flight?
