Have you actually downloaded all maps/plates etc to the device - menu/check for updates. Takes a while on initial install. While you are on an internet connection it will stream the map around you even if it's not downloaded. That may be your problem. Make sure you have updated and actually downloaded files?
When connected to the internet, go to menu/about/my account and see if it prompts you to log in
Yes, it now shows me as a trial user, and I had to log in. I checked the flight areas and I did have arizona in green.
