Welcome to the iFly user forums!

Could you please post more clearly what you are trying to do, and the exact actions you're taking in the software?  It's not clear enough to me from your original post how to duplicate your actions to see if I get the same result, or to offer suggestions for how to resolve the issue.

I am having the same problem with my "Moto G power" phone.  Everything works fine on my older Samsung Galaxy Tab 8, but ever since the android version on my phone was updated, I cant get chart updates.  I tried factory resetting my phone yesterday, and the first download worked, but when I went back to add more area I got the message that it couldnt connect to the server.  I filed a bug report back in June, but closed it after I rebooted the phone and it worked to download more charts.  The next time i tried to update, I ended up with the same error.

I think one of the new android file permission settings is getting in the way, vs. communication with the server.  This is in my ifly log, and I attached a screen shot with the error message that pops up:

[Info] [00.533 sec]Adding Unique Mount: True, '/storage/FCA0-AA4B/Android/data/iFly.GPS/files/' [SDCard, 49462 MB,<REMOVABLE>]
[Info] [00.536 sec]Finding External SD Card Path...
[Error] [00.580 sec]DiskMountManager._FindExternalSDCards() failed: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '/storage' is denied. ---> System.IO.IOException: Permission denied

Yikes.  Yeah, that's definitely worth sending in a bug report for. I am not seeing that behavior with any of my devices.  Out of curiosity, which version of Android is that device running?  (I'm running Android 11 on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, and older versions on my other devices.)

FYI, I've had some hiccups getting the built-in "Send bug report" option to work with Android 10+ where it failed to automatically attach the log file(s).  But since you posted those log excerpts you clearly know how to find the logs so you'll know how to manually attach them to the bug report if necessary.

Are you loading it from an SD card or integrally? If off an SD card, try running it integral. SD cards cause some weird things to happen in android land.

Otherwise, yes send a bug report.
