WOW! I never though my simple post about the rebate would cause so much debate. I'll think I'll just loiter in the background.

On an up note I will say I am glad for the mandate to upgrade our world of aviation with ADS-B. It has already proved it's worth by helping me to avoid two midairs in as many months. After surviving one many years ago I am hyper aware of how quickly things can go very bad for pilots enjoying flight on a beautiful day.

Just as we were mandated to wear seat belts in our vehicles, ADS-B should also reduce injuries and fatalities in aircraft.
