I have the Navworx 600 EXP.

My connector doesn't have a slide lock, but a screw lock on one end to hold the connector in place.

I'll check next time to make sure the connector is fully engaged on both ends.

By the way there is an excellent article in this months AOPA Pilot explaning the good, bad and ugly of Nexrad vs XM weather.

A handy app to have from the Play Store is WiFi Analyzer. If you are using a wifi connect from your ads unit to IFLY you can monitor the wifi signal out of your unit on your phone.

However, I have found it very interesting that when I am in the 45 to my airport I can see all the wifi signals below me popping up. It is amazing how many.

I have recently upgraded my Navworx software to the latest and greatest and the heartbeat issue has subsided...somewhat.

RE: Heartbeat Issues

Haven't had a recurrence in many hours now so it is fixed, but I'm not sure why.

Doesn't matter. The combination of Navworx and IFLY has already saved my butt from yet another midair.

I don't leave home without it.

Kinda like seat belts. They were forced on us and now I wouldn't drive without using mine.

Smetimes "Big Brother" does know what's best for us.
