Hi - Most EFB-Nav-moving maps have some means to do more than one user-defined (custom) waypoint at a time - many times a spereadsheet, database, txt, CSV or GPX file with some delimiters (commas, often), provides a way to bulk-add waypoints. For many of us moving over to other software to iFly, with some large user databse already built - this would be super handy - and maybe it has been done - if so, what is the procedure?
If not, I hope you strongly consider this as an essential, upcoming feature. I don't relish the idea of poking in 400+ user waypoints into my android or iPad devives for hours on end....
In the past I have found some manual options in EFB-maps - in that, you can do some additions to files manually (which is likely easier in the Androids than in the iPads) - by entering the file structure of the iFly Android files, and adding more waypoints. Often I can do this fast by copy and paste, or writing a short piece of database script or code. So far, looking around in my Android, it's not clear exactly where iFly in fact stores the custom waypoints, to even consider that possibility. How it shares between platforms is another question mark.
One can find MANY GPX, CSV, KML, database, XLS or file converters, so taking old lat/longs and putting them in your format, is potentially easy (and easier, for large numbers of waypoints). But where it goes, what the format is, would be the question. I hope that there's a way to bulk add, or manually do so... If not I really hope this is on the next todo list -
Many thanks,
