There seems to be a few folks like me who are interested in connecting an IFly device to XPlane to take advantage of the moving map function. I am more hopeful that this will work with MS Flight Simulator X.
Appropel wrote in their docs: (www.appropel.com)
X-Plane to GPSl is a utility that allows you to use your Android tablet or other device as a moving map for X-Plane, the popular flight simulator by Laminar Research
MAPPING APPLICATIONS
Appropel endorses the following moving map applications:
 - Naviator by 123west (http://www.naviatorapp.com/)
 - iFly GPS by Adventure Pilot (http://www.iflygps.com/)
Hey Guys - If IFly is endorsed - does this mean you guys have tested this on the bench?
Did you use a USB "A" to "A" cable and connect the 7xx devices to a PC?
Did X-Plane actually send data to the IFLY moving map?
Did you check to see if the Android version works as well?
 - EasyVFR by PocketFMS (http://www.pocketfms.com/easyvfr/). See the compatibility note below.
