Edit: Never mind. I ordered a SkyGuard transceiver and am returning my SkyGuard transmitter tomorrow. I will sell my Dual XGPS170 on Ebay. I decided I didn't want to fool with 2 different devices.

I think that's the right solution. I have a SkyRadar receiver that I just replaced with the SkyGuard transceiver...the SkyGuard is working great so far, and the iFly controls for the transmitter are easy and intuitive.
