Thank you Oldpilot the picture is great. I am right handed but fly left handed so I can fly and keep a hand on the throttle. As I am not familiar with the Nexus 7 is it larger than the IPad Mini?

I just found the Mygoflight mounts but they are much more expensive.

The IPad Mini 3 is the same height, but slightly wider than the Nexus 7. I was able to adjust the RAM mount a little more to the left for the IPad Mini. The RAM mount is attached to the windshield, but rest on the glare shield for added support. I have the swivel attachment for landscape when I want it.

I ordered directly from RAM and got the Tab-Tite clamping device, the longer arm, and the swivel.

when you say longer arm, how much longer I see different longer arms on their website. Sorry to ask that many questions. I want to get it so I have it for next weekend's flying.

I found this setup http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-16...

and here are the list of arms www.rammount.com/components
