Does real plan take in to account the wind to create a wind correction angle for the flight plan?

Pretty sure iFly only ever just gives you the bearing between waypoints, not the wind-corrected heading to fly.  When in the air, just adjust your heading so that iFly's constantly-updating course predictor arrow lines up with the magenta line, and then fly that heading.  If the course predictor deviates from the magenta line, adjust your heading to compensate.  Using that method, it doesn't matter if the actual winds differ from the forecast--you're flying the correct heading for the actual winds.

We account for winds, but not for what heading you should be in - "heading" is the direction your plane is pointing to account for crab in a crosswind. Our app does not need to know anything about this...you just make sure the "track", which is your course along the ground, matches your "bearing", which is the direction you need to fly...if they match your crab angle will be perfect

Thank you for the replies! I knew the difference between heading and bearing and that was a good suggestion about using the heading prediction line. I'm not sure if that line will work if you have an AHRS ADS-B connected because I don't know if the prediction is based on GPS heading (difference between two known GPS fixes), or if the heading is coming from the AHRS compass?

I'll see if I can walk around the house and simulate this.
