Many of the features are self-explanatory, but others are not. It would be helpful if those more familiar with synthetic vision would provide some hints for those of us just new to this new feature.

There is no manual so your help would be appreciated.

For instance: The EFIS screen has some instruments along the bottom of the screen in place of what I selected for my Nav screen. How were these selected and how do I change them?

John -

Walter has stated in the Beta Forum a tutorial video will be coming in a few weeks. Currently the iFly team is focused on getting the software completed and ready for presentation at next week's Sun and Fun. I would expect after all the questions that come from those seeing this new release for the first time, the tutorial would be fine-tuned to answer most.

To change/modify the instruments, select Setup (bottom-right side), Customize Instruments... to bring up the menu. From there you can add/remove/change the size and color of the individual instruments on the different layout templates. There are many configuration options, making the learning curve a bit steep. You can also add an EFIS toggle button, which turns the EFIS screen on or off without having to dig through multiple menus.

Thanks for the quick response.

I know you can change instruments on the Nav screen. I was wondering how to change instruments on the bottom of the EFIS screen.

Appreciate your input and will wait for the video tutorial.

Can you be more specific about which instruments you are wanting to change at the bottom of your EFIS screen? Are referencing the iFly 740 hardware/software?

Brian gave a good demo of Synthetic Vision in our Facebook Live video yesterday.  https://www.facebook.com/AdventurePilot/videos/10156283836479872/
