will the iflygps app be including screens for engine monitoring in the foreseeable future? As a long time iflygps user I think it would represent an outstanding feature.

Engine instruments? ------ tach, MAP, EGT, CHT, FF, Oil Temp, Oil Press, etc. ------- seem like all your sensors would have to be hooked to WiFi or Bluetooth to transmit the signal to the iFly ----- I know we want the iFly to be all things, to all people, but I think that this "portable" instrument is already being overloaded with features ---

I would rather see a more robust hardware device, that does not lose GPS lock because of steep turns, or a screen that locks up at critical times.

Just my opinion

R.

This is a great idea! Design it so valuable screen real estate is used only when there is an anomoly. Allow engine information to be displayed only if it exceeds a pre-set value at a sensor. Each sensor can report using the existing wi-fi capability rather then being wired, just like ADS-B already does so well. And design it so the SD card also records any anomolies reported.

Agreed - there is plenty on the screen as it is, and I don't like having all my eggs in one basket. I'd like a larger screen for the existing features instead of more features.
