Is anybody having trobule with the NMEA Output Controller (and/or USB to Serial Cable)? On my unit, it is a luck of the draw as to wheather the NMEA controller appears in the Menu ( Under About-Connected Devices). When this happens, I cannot drive the Autopilot with the GPS as there is no signal output. Don't know if it is a serial cable problem or an internal problem but it is a random event as to wheather the controller comes up. Any help would be appreciated as I cannot use the GPS as intended.

Mine works great. Feeds both my TruTrak & Dynon D100. I had a problem with the USB to serial cable a couple of years ago on my 720. It was an issue tracking down what was happening. Replaced and all good since. Bob

In communicating with Shane at Advernture Pilot today, it appears that the problem lies in my default boot-up screen coming up in GPS. Shane suggested booting up in the main screen and then click on GPS. Although I have not tested it with the Autopilot (and the Dynon D10-A), I have tested it over 15 times and in every case, the NMEA Output Controller is recognized. I have very high hopes of having this licked at this time. Will test on the Dynon over the next few days.....
