I thought metars and TAF's were simply a display of what is downloaded from the FAA. I would not mess with it. Just display what they send.

Dear ErgonomicMike,

Sorry, but I did not bring up the word "clutter", I was addressing the exact word Frank Parker used to describe my suggestion.

Dear OldPilot,

That display I'm talking about is an iFly decoded display and not a direct raw output. Again requirements, design, and coding, and with bugs as previous reported and iFly fixed.

It is clear lots of negative opinions are out there. I can remain positive and show other examples of other apps that pull this minor request off in a superb way via excellent UI formatting and it doesn't even look like clutter.

My objective has always been to make iFly the benchmark for apps and dethrone that other one.

Yes, I know.

So that there aren't any hard feelings, I was simply pivoting off the counterpoint you made. (Intentionally or not.) The fact is that dual temps in the WA page does clutter things up. (And so you were right in your counterpoint. Things are already cluttered with two temps.) Allowing the user to choose which version they want can declutter by not having to show both.

And as I said at the start of my comment, I wasn't being negative, in the sense of trying to shoot down your suggestion for enhancement. Even tho I don't see myself using F (and I thought of another reason for sticking with C - E6B calculations are done in C) - I have no problem with it as long as I don't have to use it.

Other opinions, not negative opinions.
