the lower right corner of the screen is a busy spot, with zoom out, track/north, and those damn ACKNOWLEDGE requests, it gets used a lot. throw in some turbulence and you can easily start missing the button areas. i have accidently hit the night mode and , during daytime, had the whole screen go dark [as it is designed to do] leaving me blindly poking around trying to restore the screen brightness. if you were to move the night mode button to the far left it would reduce chances of making this mistake. the same is true of the acknowledge button. miss it and the map zooms in or out. this button could be placed differently to help the problem. i have had many times where it takes several pokes to make acknowledge go away, only to return to a zoomed way out map. i miss the physical buttons on my lowrance, but recognize the industry prefers touch screens.
