Truthfully, synthetic vision doesn't have a lot of appeal for me, except for the "boxes" when (too) near B, C, or D, and landing esp pattern entry.

It could be quite literally a life saver in any number of the low visibility situations VFR pilots should never get into.

.....and of some increased situational awareness in situations short of emergencies.
