Georeferenced approach plates are an amazing reference tool. How about another instrument option that is an interactive count up/count down timer? I use the "blank" instrument group when I'm using an approach plate to clear off screen real estate and force me to get my altitude, speed, distance, etc. from the certified hardware. However, it would be nice to have a timer onscreen for timed approaches and holds. Something big that can be easily read with a glance and also started/paused/reset in turbulence.
