Is it possible to get more info on TFRs. I don't know if it is possible from ADS-B but howe about from the internet?

I would love to get info about the description

I am looking for the info in the "Operating Restrictions and Requirements" section of the TFR

Don:

On my Android phone or tablet I just touch on the TFR and up pops all the info I need in a box at the bottom of the screen.

Example: The Disneyland TFR says "Now active for security reasons as of 10/27/14. Alt: Surface to 3000 AGL"

We have many fires here and the TFR tells when it is active, inactive and how high.

That is what I currently have working also...

But for many TFRs, there is more information available on the FAA's TFR page. For example, the VIP TFRs usually have an inner and outer area and different rules apply.

To just have a description of: "From SFC to FL180" is not telling the whole story. The first 10 miles has a different restriction then the next 20 miles...

This is the "Operating Restrictions and Requirements" from a current TFR
---------------------------------------------
No pilots may operate an aircraft in the areas covered by this NOTAM (except as described).
Except the flight operations listed below:

1. Aircraft arriving or departing KTLH and 68J airport.

2. Military aircraft directly supporting the United States Secret Service (USSS) and the office of The Vice President of the United States.

3. Law enforcement, firefighting, and medevac/air ambulance flights on active missions.

4. Aircraft operations necessitated for safety or emergency reasons.

5. All aircraft approved to operate within the TFR must be squawking an ATC discrete code at all times while in the TFR and must remain in two-way radio communications with ATC.
------------------------------------------------------

So one can see there is more to the TFR then just STAY OUT OF THE RED CIRCLE!

I was wondering if wherever the data for the TFR is pulled from, is there more info that we would be available to us??

Hi Don,

Yes there are additional text details we could pull from the FAA. I'm puttig this on the wishlist, you may see it in an upcoming release.

Thanks!
Walter
