We call that "picture" == "Real View", btw.
iFly behavior for this is configurable. By default, it just shows the Realview, and from there you can elect to see the Airport Diagram (from Plates button, or tap hold overtop the RealView, and select from the QuickMenu).
Also, you can configure the default behavior with "Menu => Setup => Map Settings => Auto-Show Apt Diagrams", if you want these to show up by default.
Let me know if you have an idea for improvement here.
