as for right now you can run NMEA output from iFly to your autopilot with either the Levil AP or iLevil3.

Gaaaa!     Brolin, get a Dynon anything in your panel. Autopilot software is built into almost everything they produce, beginning with the D10A. (Not the original D10, however.) All you'll need then is any cheap GPS with NMEA output and one or two Dynon servos and you have a good autopilot. iFlyGPS is THE best solution for that. Why on earth--or in flight--would you guys want to screw around with anything more complicated? Why do you think your "Big Announcement" has produced such consternation among your 740 and 740b owners?

we're adding capability. you can run nmea from an iOS or android device to your autopilots now, instead of just the 7 series tablets.

iLevil 3 or Levil AP.

I know this thread is old, forgive me for the resurrect.

The Levil products cost $1500-1900 to get NMEA autopilot functionality from a tablet.  The draw of iFly devices/apps has *always* been cost.  Getting most or all of the features of the larger players at 30-70% of the cost is what drives AP's business.
