Went to use my ifly 720 and it will not boot up. It still gets warm to the touch after a few minutes but never boots.

I tried the 12v cig lighter in the car and the wall unit and it's own remote battery pack but nothing seems to make it work.

I checked for voltage from the power supplies all showed good power levels. Why would it just stop suddenly working?

I don't know if it resets when iFly is restarted, but the power button on the remote simply turns the screen off.  If you turned the screen off, or thought you were turning the iFly off via the remote power button, AND iFly doesn't turn the screen back on when it boots up, that MAY be the problem.

Power problems are usually one of two things on a 720, the power cord and the power port in the unit. It sounds like you've eliminated the cord as the issue, so it's probably the power port has broken loose or some other internal problem. Put in a ticket at https://www.iflygps.com/SUPPORT/Get-Help and we'll see what we can do.

Just a follow up from when this unit went down. I sent it back to iFly and after a new refurb of my unit and a updated subscription my iFly is back up and running.

Thanks iFly crew! Great service and keep it up.
