Anyone had to deal with glare on their 720? If so how did you deal with it? I'm having a real problem with it during the day. I'm thinking about fashioning a hood for it.

Any guidance would be much appreciated?

Yes, there are several posts on here that talk about how to address glare on the 7xx units.

Two easy things to consider:

1) Dark, solid color shirts help with clothing-related reflections that affecti screen visibility.

2) I recall some folks fashioning a sun shield by velcroing a U-shaped "hood" around the the bezel using dark cardstock or other material.

In my aircraft, glare issues are uncommon enough that it's easy to just shade with my hand on the rare occasions it's necessary..

In the past, I have gone out and purchased a dull-coat screen protector that really helped on other tablets, computers and devices.

Most are available for under ten bucks at most office supply places and many of them will even size it and apply it on your devise for your in the store.

Not only do you get screen protection, but it cuts out the glare as well.

Just another technique!
