I ran it for 2 hours plugged in and it maxed out at 134 degrees F. When I unplugged it, the battery was still at 100 percent charge, so the PowerBoost 1000 is doing it's job. So, I guess I'll use it in the plane from now on unless it develops a problem or gets too hot, etc.

Now that I got this finished and everything working well, I am going to abandon this project.  I'm concerned the lithium ion battery may get too hot in the case with the Raspberry Pi, 2 SDR's, and the PowerBoost 1000.  The last thing I need is an exploding battery in an airplane.
