Would like to see the dark (night) settings returned to the brightest setting during the next bootup. I spend about 20% of my time flying at night, but always seem to fly a day sortie the next time. If I forget to set the brightness to the highest level, it's difficult to see the menu during the day to find and set the brightness.

Walter and crew,

How about using the internal/GPS clock//time zone settings to automatically switch from daybright to preset night levels. This would track with sun up/sun down times and change with daylight savings periods too! Just a thought.

Can't wait to see ver 6.0 with weather and geo ref!

Brian: Good idea...but this might frustrate the person that reboots during a night flight. You could try using the remote to quickly brighten up the iFly without having to go through the menus.

Paul: Also a good idea, and this is on our feature todo list. Probably won't make v6 as we're against the wall with two huge features, but should be after that.

Thanks!
Walter

Thanks Walter!

Always looking to hear from you regarding upcoming features! The weather and traffic should be awesome! Are you planning on releasing it to the beta users prior to Oshkosh?

I will need to know what hardware to procure for the test.

Thanks again for all you guys do to continue open disussion!

Paul

Yes, we hope to be in beta before Oshkosh. But no promises on dates, I let the code tell me when to release. Still have a little coding and a lot of optimizing and internal testing to do on these features.

The first ADSB platform we'll support is Redena's Sky Radar http://www.skyradar.net/
