I figured it out. Gpx has to go in android/data/......#FlightPlans

I'm glad to hear that. Thanks for posting this. Apparently we have an issue with the instructions themselves, probably. Do you have a suggestion for how we could make them more clear?

I know how complex it is to maintain software on multiple platforms, you guys do a fantastic job overall!
The FAQ item should be updated as follows:
The GPX file should be placed in
{SdCard}/Android/data/iFly.GPS/files/iFly/#FlightPlans
