Any thoughts about targeting iFly for Google Glass? I think it would be an incredible solution!

That would be neat. I would like to hear from the group about this: What would you want it to do? Do you have Google Glass? Thoughts on viability of GG in the cockpit...ie, with headsets, vibration, etc. Anyone tried this yet?

Thanks,
Walter

This sounds like an interesting idea. At the moment, I would imagine I'd see it like an HUD. A speed tape on one side, altitude tape on the other. compass tape along the top, a box that would only activate if terrain was predicted to be too close, and another for an angle of attack warning. I can't imagine having a map displayed, as it would seem to obscure the view out the window. An artificial horizon, and maybe a route track would be interesting, but I'd first want to know how it would affect our senses if we still had the AH, and course line, (essentially the forward view) when we looked out the side window, or at the passenger, etc.

It gives me a head ache just thinking about it. When I want information from an instrument I want to look at an instrument. When I want information outside the cockpit I want an uncluttered view out the windshield. - Jim Williams

I agree. Google glass seems like an additional distraction to me.
